Growing up, the scent of myrrh was the smell of home. The elders knew which trees were ready to give and which needed rest — knowledge passed down by watching, not from books.
When we started Myst & Myrrh in London, the goal was simple: share the real thing. Not a synthetic copy or a blend bought through layers of middlemen — the same pure resin our family has always treasured.

The Commiphora tree
Commiphora myrrha thrives in harsh, sun-scorched land where little else grows. Harvesters make a small cut in the bark; the resin seeps out, hardens into amber tears and is gathered by hand. Done with care, the tree heals and gives again the next season.
That's why we never rush — and why we buy directly from the people who know these trees best.
What we stand for
Direct sourcing
No agents or importers. Harvesters get a fair price, and you get fresher resin.
Quality we'd use ourselves
If we wouldn't burn it at home, we don't sell it. Our family name is on every bag.
Giving back
A portion of every sale goes back to harvesting communities — supporting local schools and the care of the groves.
