What does it smell like?
Warm, resinous and slightly bitter-sweet, with notes of dried fruit and dark wood. Richer and earthier than frankincense.
How do I burn it?
Light a charcoal disc in a heat-proof burner and wait 3–5 minutes until it glows grey. Add 2–3 small pieces and let the smoke rise. Open a window slightly and never leave burning charcoal unattended. Full guide.
Where is it from?
Wild Commiphora myrrha trees in Somalia, bought directly from harvesters. Our story.

Free UK delivery on every order. Dispatched within 1 working day, usually arriving in 2–3 working days. Not happy? Return it within 30 days. Shipping & returns.
Safety
For aromatic use only — not for consumption. Burn in a ventilated room, keep away from children and pets, and use a heat-proof burner.
Commiphora myrrha tree in the Somali landscape

From the source

Gathered by hand from wild trees

Harvesters make a small cut in the bark of the Commiphora tree. The resin seeps out, hardens into amber tears in the desert air, and is gathered by hand weeks later. Done properly, the tree heals and gives again next season.
